Job Description:
Our client is looking an experienced Payroll Admin to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is paying a competitve salary, and offers hybrid working, with their office based in Manchester city centre.
Key responsibilities in this role will be:
* Payroll processing: the team currently look after 200 payroll processes; this role will be supporting on some of the smaller payrolls.
* Payroll queries (via email and phone)
* Running payroll reports
* Pension administration
* Maintaining records and uploading documentation
The ideal candidate will have an existing knowledge of payroll processes and prior experience in a similar role. It would be advantageous if you have experience using Sage and Brightpay, but this is not requirement.
Key Skills needed for this role:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Can-do attitude
* Able to manage your own workload
* Background in payroll
* The ability to check work for accuracy and have good attention to detail.
* Be able to demonstrate your initiative to solve problems.
* Be flexible and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
* Excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
