Our client, a reputable Engineering & Technology firm with over 40 years of industry expertise, is actively searching for a CNC Miller to join their skilled manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in setting up and operating various CNC milling machines, including those with up to 5 axes, to produce top-quality precision machined components.
Job Responsibilities for the CNC Miller
* Crafting precision components from diverse raw materials to meet the precise specifications outlined in engineering drawings
* Ensuring the manufactured components adhere to strict quality standards using appropriate measuring equipment and conform to the individual component inspection schedule
* Setting up and running CNC milling machines equipped with Haas/Fanuc or Siemens-based controls
* Adhering to the company’s Quality Management and Health and Safety protocols
* Delivering quality output within set timelines
Person Specification
* Mechanical engineering apprenticeship
* Prior experience in a precision engineering environment is essential
* Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and utilizing various measurement equipment
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller, preferably with expertise in 5-axis machining and machining castings
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits
* Up to £40,000
* Monday to Thursday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
* Fridays – 8:00am to 2:00pm
