ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
WARRINGTON CENTRAL
£25,000 - £27,000 DOE + STUDY SUPPORT

My Warrington based client, is expanding and therefore looking to expand their finance function. This is due to organic growth, and this family run business has been established for seven years, and is becoming one of the main competitors in their industry. KPI Recruiting are supporting with the recruitment of a trainee accounts assistant to join their busy and ever growing business. You will be supported through your studies, and the ideal candidate will have a minimum of six month experience within a finance function and an interest in finance/ accounting.  
YOUR NEW ROLE
Accounts and Administration Assistant, Reporting to the finance manager and working closely with a small and close knit team, the person holding this role will be responsible for;
* Accounts receivable
* Raising, reviewing and processing sales invoices
* Liaising with sales teams to resolve queries
* Reconciliation of ledger
* Credit control: Maintaining regular contact with clients and chasing all overdue invoices by email and telephone
* Accounts payable
* Coding supplier invoices into Xero
* Managing authorisation of invoices, discussing queries with internal teams and resolving disputes with suppliers
* Setting up payments on online banking system for release by finance manager or CFO.
* Posting and reconciliation of project costing reports in Xero
* Bank Reconciliations
* Assisting with month end process & posting journals
* Reporting to assistance month end duties
* Stock reconciliation and reporting
* General administration including supporting other teams if required.
* Any other duties as reasonably requested by the finance manager, CFO or management team
YOU WILL NEED 
A minimum of six months experience working in an accounts related role, with good excel knowledge, an understanding of financial and accounting procedures. You will be a strong communicator, with the ability to express yourself clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. To show maturity and proactivity to get the job done efficiently with a consistently high-quality output.

We are looking for self-motivated candidates, who are able to work on their own initiative, but also enjoy working as part of a team, You must have a can-do attitude, a desire for continuous learning and a drive to see yourself and the team succeed
Full-time hours; 8.30am - 4.30pm - Monday to Friday
The ability to work on a hybrid basis after the initial training/ probation
