Job Description:

They are currently seeking a strategic and dynamic CFO to join their executive team and drive financial excellence.
Role Overview:
As the CFO, you will be an integral member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organisation. You will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring the fiscal health of the organisation. This position requires a forward-thinking leader with a strong background in healthcare finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a corporate strategy and annual business plan to achieve the organisation’s objectives efficiently and cost-effectively.
* Act as a key liaison with investors and central to fundraising plans.
* Efficiently manage and develop the finance team.
* Collaborate with the CEO and Board to define the strategic vision, including forecasting and nurturing stakeholder relationships.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the organisation.
* Establish and maintain adequate financial controls.
* Provide the Board with an operational budget and work closely to ensure pragmatic success.
* Oversee all fiscal activities, including revenue/expense and balance sheet reporting.
* Monitor the organisation’s banking activities.
* Supervise the production of monthly reports, financial statements, and cash flow projections.
* Review and monitor the Group’s tax position, calculations, and filings.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification would be advantageous.
* Extensive experience in leading and developing finance functions, preferably within the healthcare sector.
* Strong technical accounting skills are highly desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proven experience in managing and developing staff.
* Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines.
* Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Excellent proficiency in Excel.
