Overview
We are one of the UK’s most reputable, well regarded and continually growing Pension administration firms! Our clients include household names; some of the biggest and most complex Pension schemes out there, and many of whom have been with us for a number of years!
Following years of continual growth, we are looking to recruit a Principal Pension Administrator to join our growing team in Edinburgh.
How you’ll make an impact
In this role, you will coordinate occupational pension schemes and carry out complex pension administration tasks and calculations including overseeing the management of treasury and payroll.
* Accountable for co-ordinating admin projects and ensuring the delivery of client workloads
* Management of errors and complaints to ensure they are effectively handled.
* Supervise, coach and mentor staff, providing feedback on staff performance and progress against goals.
* Check and authorise other administrators work.
* Management of pensioner payrolls, pension increases and ensure the annual notification of the lifetime allowance used is notified to pensioners in a timely manner.
* Management of trustee bank accounts and investment of contributions.
* Assisting the client account manager with any documentation they require with carrying out their responsibilities.
* Ensure client work is processed accurately and timely within target dates.
* Assisting CSD Team Manager with the monitoring of transactional activity for Tariff and Fixed fee clients
About You
* Minimum of 3 years as Senior Pensions Administrator.
* CPC qualified or working towards PMI is desirable
* Strong working knowledge of Pension administration systems.
* Strong experience of working with different occupational pension schemes.
* Ability to manage team member workloads
* Logical approach to problem solving.
* Excellent time management skills
* Strong numeracy skills.
* Promptly communicate with clients and scheme members on queries when required via letter, e-mail and telephone.
