Job Description:
Location: Central Derby
Salary: £30,000pa, depending on experience with excellent company benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, office based
Type: Temporary to Permanent

An amazing opportunity for an experience Bookkeeper with payroll to join an established family run business, based in central Derby, initially temp- perm.
This is a pivotal role and as the Bookkeeper you will be responsible for most of the finance functions within the business
The main duties of the Bookkeeper will be to:
* Preparing and processing monthly payroll
* Inputting starters and leavers
* Manual calculations i.e. P45, P60, P38, maternity/ paternity leave, student loans etc.
* Processing invoices and expenses
* HMRC
* Reconciling bank statements
* Posting journals
* Profit & loss
* VAT returns
* Forecasting, cashflow and budgets
* Financial reporting
* Dealing with customers’ queries
* Administration duties
Essential skills:
* Experienced Bookkeeper/ Accounts Assistant with payroll
* Ability to handle sensitive financial information
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good communicator
* Working knowledge of Sage Software would be an advantage
