My client is a Construction company based in canary Wharf, London.
They Seek a Bookkeeper with strong payroll experience to join their team
Payroll experience will be favoured over bookkeeping experience.
This role is 5 days in office (please do not apply if you cannot commit to 5 days in office)
Key responsibilities include:
* Experience processing payroll via time sheets
* Prepare and file company quarterly VAT returns as well as submission of our annual confirmation statement
* Execute ongoing bookkeeping activities including calculating accruals and posting manual journals.
* Expenses administration in our expense management tool
* Creditor and Debtor administration, including the preparation and validation of bank transactions.
* Prepare invoices on a monthly basis
* Processing holiday, SSP, SMP, SPP payments and statutory deductions
* Processing P45, P60, P11D
* Submitting monthly PAYE and pension contributions on schedule
* Calculating employee tax benefits - company car etc.
* Ability to perform the manual calculation of payments when needed
