SEND Teacher – September 2024
Are you a QTS Teacher with SEND experience looking for a new rewarding opportunity teaching in a special school? This lovely school requires a SEND Teacher to teach small classes of children with moderate learning difficulties including Autism, Asperger’s and Down Syndrome.

The school provides a safe, nurturing and supportive environment for children with additional needs. The setting is welcoming, and staff work together to ensure the best outcomes for students. As a SEND Teacher you will be teaching a small class of no more than 7 children and will always be supported by an outstanding team of TA’s. Teachers tend to stay at this school, and it has relatively low staff turnover, leadership are supportive and provide any additional support or training that you require. This role requires a QTS Teacher who has previous experience within SEND, teachers from primary or secondary backgrounds are welcome to apply. 
Job Role:
* Teaching a small class of children with Special Educational Needs
* Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students
* Liaising with the SENCO and TAs to ensure children are supported appropriately
* Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students
* Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers
