Are you someone who has aspirational beliefs for all children? Are you able to able to demonstrate strategies to support pupils with Special Educational Needs?
LTF Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to take on this exciting role, partnered with one of our SEND schools based in Newark-On-Trent. This person will play a crucial role in supporting the educational needs and personal development of all pupils. This role is long-term with the potential to be permanent subject to a successful trial period.
Roles and responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, making sure they have equal opportunities to progress.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional well-being of all pupils.
* Building relationships with children’s parents to ensure ongoing development and make parents aware of the student’s progress.
* Set individual targets and monitor them closely to help design appropriate learning material.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
* Effectively utilise available resources, materials, and technology to enhance the learning experience for students.
* Strong communication and verbal skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* An enhanced DBS and two references.
