What you will be doing as a Field Service Engineer:
* Attending customer’s sites to service their garage equipment in your area.
* Repairing customers garage equipment back to good working order.
* Attending planned services as well as reactive breakdowns.
* Working with the service support team on your schedule and communicating any issues and updates to them.
* Quoting repairs to customers.
* Completing service reports and job notes.
* Reporting unsafe notices correctly.
* Reporting potential sales leads to the sales and marketing teams.
What you’ll need to succeed as a Field Service Engineer:
* Previous experience within an automotive workshop is ESSENTIAL - working on cars, vans, lorries. Any experience level will be considered.
* You MUST have Mechanical engineering experience.
* Ideally you will have experience with electro-mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
* A full clean driving license is ESSENTIAL.
* You will be personable and be able to communicate with clients onsite.
* You will be a natural problem solver and keen to learn.
