Robert Half is recruiting for a Senior Health and Safety Officer to join a client based South of Cambridge.
This is a full time position, office based 5 days a week.
For this role our client is looking to pay in the region of £38,000. There is flex for an exceptional candidate.
Main Duties:
* Preparation of Permits to Work
* Assist site with implementation of isolation procedures
* Internal and external audits
* Conduct EHS training
* Systems checks and inspection
* Coordinating site Mechanical safety
* Assist Compliance manager with system and process improvements across EHS
* Provide advice in site HAZID/HAZOP activities
Attributes:
* Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing or chemical environment
* Supervisory level of Safety Qualification or working towards
* Proactive, hands on
* Auditing experience
* Conversant with EH&S regulations
* Qualification in H&S
