Our client is a market leading blue chip company based in the West Midlands. An exciting new opportunity has been created for a technically strong Head of Financial Reporting to join the team. The company is well established and continues to grow, offering long term career progression potential.
As the Head of Group Reporting, you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the consolidation of Group results, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Manage the preparation of the Group’s annual and interim financial statements.
* Provide technical accounting advice to the business on complex accounting issues.
* Liaise with all divisions of the Group, including international entities.
* Key contributor to the annual board report.
* Provision of ad-hoc financial information as required to the board and investors.
* Lead on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
* Manage relationships with external auditors.
* Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA), with previous training within a Big Four accountancy firm. A track record of large company financial reporting, group consolidations and SOX are all essential. Exposure to Oracle’s consolidation software (HFM / FCCS) is also highly desirable.
The ability to work as part of a best-in-class group finance team along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be required.
£90,000 - £100,000 + car allowance, bonus and benefits.
