Job Description:
Your new organisation
Based in Liverpool city centre, this organisation is focused on protecting their clients and setting standards within the UK. The legal team is looking to recruit a legal assistant / paralegal to support the in-house legal team, initially on a temporary basis until March 2025.
Your new role
The role itself will involve supporting the in-house legal team in the preparation of cases referred for hearing, including drafting witness statements, creating trial bundles and managing case documents. You will also be involved in liaising with internal and external parties, updating records and filing documents in relation to the cases. This position would suit an ambitious law graduate with investigations experience looking to expand their legal experience in a regulatory environment.
What you’ll need to succeed
You must be available to start at short notice on a temporary contract arrangement until the end of March 2025. In order to be successful, you must have excellent communication skills, a strong legal academic record with experience in investigation work in either a fitness to practise or a regulatory setting. You will ideally be a law/GDL/LPC/BPTC graduate and candidates undergoing the SQE programme will also be considered. This opening could also suit future trainee solicitors who are due to start their training contract and called barristers looking to start pupillage from 2025 onwards.
