Job Description:
Pod are pleased to be working with an international materials manufacturer with multiple sites in the UK who are looking for an experienced Demand Planner to join their team (Remote - once a month in the Boston office).
In this role, you will focus on increasing customer satisfaction, formulating demand planning with the commercial team and playing a key role in the S&OP process.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a large-scale supply chain improvement and development movement within a market-leading business, working closely with highly experienced and passionate colleagues.
Responsibilities
You will…
* You will be responsible for the demand planning process with customers and the supply chain for your areas to ensure best possible service at optimal cost
* Balance day-to-day tasks of the short-term horizon (0-12 weeks) with the demands of improving activities across the tactical time period (3-12 months)
* Coordinate the monthly S&OP channel reviews with relevant stakeholders, maintain demand plans in APO, report on variances to plan with insights from the wider business
* Coordinate demand and inventory-related initiatives by looking at statistical forecasting, data cleansing and integrating cross functional and customer insights
About you…
* 2-3 years + experience in Demand Planning
* Experience in S&OP best practice preferred as well as driving relevant metrics (FC error, forecast value-add, etc)
* Able to work with different stakeholders internally and externally
* Strongly analytical and experience using SAP ERP would be ideal
