Job Purpose *Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the Senior Management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
*Preparation of year-end acccounts for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships and sole traders
*Preparation of personal and corporation tax computations and returns
*Involvement in ad-hoc work projects to further support Senior Managers and Directors
*Oversee client workflow and internal management of resources
*Supervise junior staff, reviewing work and supporting their professional development
*Liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries
*Identify new processes and ways to increase efficiency
*Research and interpret changes to taxation and accounting regulations
*Champion your own professional development, enthusiastically undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements *ACCA / ACA qualified or equivalent, part qualified or studying
*Qualified by experience would also be considered
*A general practice background
*Working knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation
*Strong working knowledge of software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
*Excellent financial modelling and data interpretation skills
*Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation
*A team player who can also work autonomously
*A hands-on, can-do attitude to problem-solving
*Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines and workflow
*Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
