IT Manager - Wolverhampton - £60,000 + bonus (20k paid out last 3 years)

I am currently working with a manufacturing business based just outside of Wolverhampton who are looking for an IT Manager to come on board and help them continue on their IT upgrade programme and bring technology in to a business enabling function. Managing a small team of 3 you will be a technically hands on "roll you sleeves up" manager whilst also setting the 3 year IT roadmap working closely with the wider SLT.

We need someone who is capable and comfortable being a point of escalation for the team whilst also managing projects and architecture as the function evolves. It’s a really great opportunity for someone who loves working with technology but wants to make a real difference and help implement IT maturity in a rather legacy business.

Required experience:
Sound knowledge of IT systems, specifications, networks, and computer systems.
Ability to write, run and rectify SQL statements.
Experience of working with an outsourced IT function.
Problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
Proficiency in forecasting, budgeting, and strategic use of IT staff.
Excellent leadership, prioritization, and organisational skills.
Ability to communicate to tech-savvy and non-technical staff.
Good business understanding of major financial drivers of the company, and commercially aware.
Good understanding of ERP’s, networks, awareness of latest developments in IT technology.
