About the Role:
Join our client’s Supply Chain team as a Demand Planner, responsible for managing online customer orders and optimizing supply chain resources to meet targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop demand forecasts using statistical tools and sales data.
* Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service for accurate forecasting.
* Address supply chain issues with innovative solutions.
* Lead the shift from a production-led to a demand-driven business model.
* Manage inventory, stock levels, and operational costs.
* Analyse sales forecasts to improve accuracy.
* Report on and update forecasts, managing demand changes.
* Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methods.
* Lead the Sales and Operational Planning (S&OP) cycle.
* Willingness to travel to other sites in the UK and Europe occasionally.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment
* Experience managing a high number of SKUs.
* Background in scheduling, forecasting, planning, and procurement
* Knowledge of SAP/MRP systems and APO modules
* Familiarity with demand management and forecasting tools.
* Proven ability to address supply chain and operational issues effectively.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Accurate IT and data entry skills
