Elite Finance Recruitment are assigned to appoint an experienced qualified accountant as a Finance Manager/ Financial Controller reporting into the Operations Director for an ambitious start -up firm in the Tech space.
This role offers an exciting time to join the fast paced and very much growing business eventually leading to an IPO. This position will offer remote /hybrid working This is very much a hands on role managing a very small finance function
Key responsibilities will include:
* Scheduling and completing financial month-end tasks (additional tasks at quarterly and year end).
* Preparing single and consolidated statutory accounts.
* Preparing cash flow statements.
* Planning and coordinating financial budgets.
* Overseeing UK interim/full audits.
* VAT returns /HMRC and reporting into senior management
* FP&A analysis
* Undertaking ad hoc financial projects.
Essential qualifications and experience:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* Experience in the Tech industry beneficial
* Strong commercial and business acumen, gained through industry or practice.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Ability to build rapport and maintain effective working relationships
* Self-confidence, reliability, motivation, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
