Contract 5 – 6 Months +
Day rate: £350 per day
We are looking for an experienced compliance professional to assist a local authority in Devon to ensure they are meeting 100% compliance regulations for their housing stock. This is a contract role with a view to go permanent.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be responsible managing a team of compliance officers carrying out compliance/cyclical servicing management to the housing stockManage the core compliance service covering ’the big 5’ Gas, Asbestos, Fire, Electrical & Water HygieneMonitoring KPIs and escalating performance issuesProviding technical expertise and advice, managing the Compliance and Cyclical Services budgets; and the contractors delivering Compliance and Cyclical Servicing worksYou will be aiming to make the housing stock 100% compliant, identifying gaps/areas of improvements and delivering this as a teamOversee matters relating to legal compliance ensuring the safety of stock and tenants at all times, and guidance to include and effective/timely programme of inspections, repairs and risk mitigation activityDevelop, implement, manage and maintain an effective compliance management model together with a suite of policies, procedures and guidanceCreate an effective/timely programme of inspections, repairs an risk mitigating activityProvide site supervision and contract management; valuation of work and authorise payment of invoices
Job Requirements
Driver with access to own vehicle HNC/HND or Equivalent Experience and knowledge of H&S and compliance areas
Desirable:
Social Housing experience
