Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Contract Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, sourcing and placing candidates, and contributing to the overall success of our recruitment operations. This role offers a basic salary of £28,000 - £30,000, with the potential to earn up to 25% commission on billings. The position involves working on a mostly cold desk with some warm clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Development: * Identify and engage potential clients through various sales techniques, including cold calling, networking, and digital outreach.
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
* Conduct regular client meetings to understand their recruitment needs and offer tailored solutions.

* Candidate Sourcing: * Proactively source, screen, and interview candidates using various channels such as job boards, social media, and referrals.
* Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to meet client needs.
* Conduct thorough background checks and reference checks on potential candidates.

* Placement and Follow-up: * Match suitable candidates to client vacancies and manage the recruitment process from start to finish.
* Ensure successful placements by providing ongoing support and follow-up with both clients and candidates.
* Negotiate terms of employment including remuneration, start dates, and other relevant details.

* Administration and Reporting: * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client and candidate interactions in the company’s CRM system.
* Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
* Stay updated with industry trends and recruitment best practices.

Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the contract staffing sector.
* Strong sales and business development skills, with a track record of achieving targets.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
* Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.
* Resilient and adaptable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Salary and Benefits
* Basic Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
* Commission: Up to 25% commission on billings.
