Job Description:
Our client is an established, family-run, and profitable SME based in Ashbourne, seeking a Financial Controller on a permanent, full-time basis.
As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
* Attendance at management meetings presenting financial reporting, incl. KPIs
* Production of management info to a exacting schedule
* Dynamic management of credit control, and cash flow management
* Full suite of ledger responsibilities with books of prime entry
* Developing a forecasting model, order book tracking
* Overall Responsibility for MIS (management information systems)
* Finance staff management, and liaison with staff of all level
* Oversight of payroll preparation (the payroll is administered by an external firm), and HR matters
The successful Financial Controller will have the following experience:
* Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* Granular knowledge of accounting processes (TB, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger)
* Producing prompt monthly management information including P&L
* Capable of managing audit process and liaising with auditors
* Staff management experience
As Financial Controller, you will be entitled to the following:
* £55,000 - £65,000
* Permanent Contract
* Full-time, On-site role
