An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and proactive individual, with a ’can-do’ solutions-based approach, to join the supportive Business Development & Marketing team of a top 100 specialist law firm.
You will be joining a firm who pride themselves on delivering exceptional results to their clients, who are primarily from the real estate and private wealth sectors. The firm has an excellent reputation with both clients and staff and is an outstanding place to work where you will feel challenged but supported to progress your career. The firm’s BD & Marketing team currently comprises 9 people and is growing. They have the full mix of BD, marketing, communications and digital skill sets and work regularly with best in class freelancers and agencies to meet the needs of the business. They are ambitious and their focus as a team is to support the partners, lawyers and wider business on the development of revenue opportunities through focused communications, profile raising and strategic business development. In this role you will work closely with the Events Manager to support a significant events programme and will work directly with partners and other stakeholders. You will be given specific areas of responsibility, and the training and management support to help you progress and develop. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating and running the firms’ internal and external events. You will manage event logistics throughout the lifecycle of an event, including researching venues and experiences, booking a venue, finding entertainment, creating seating plans, creating and sending invitations through the firm’s e-marketing program to internal or external guests, collating responses and confirming final details with relevant parties. The successful applicant will also prepare and lead on all event communications and be responsible for maintaining the events planner, creating event materials, including name badges and place cards, and other administrative tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, able to interact with people at all levels, with a high degree of common sense and previous professional services experience gained whilst working in a similar role. Organised, accurate and thorough with good attention to detail, the Events Coordinator will possess excellent administrative skills and will both enjoy and thrive working as part of a busy team. An expert in data management with experience of e-comms, you will also ideally possess a sound working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign.
