One of the world’s leading global law firms requires a proactive Pitch Manager with enthusiasm, confidence and energy to join their Business Development and Marketing team. This role will be responsible for providing proposal management and pitch presentation support on significant multi-practice and multi-jurisdictional competitive bids.

You will manage transactional and panel bid proposals to support lawyers in the firm’s offices in EMEA, in order to produce effective and targeted material and responses to client opportunities, and will also support business development and marketing colleagues engaged in the pursuit of opportunities. The Pitch Manager will lead bid planning meetings to establish win themes and establish a bid management plan and will subsequently draft, edit and produce proposals, pitch presentations, placemats and other related material associated with the bid process. You will work closely with EMEA lawyers and members of the Business Development and Marketing team to ensure that materials are high-quality, strategic, reflective of best practices in the marketplace and reinforce the firm’s brand messaging. The successful applicant will report the workflow of EMEA bid opportunities among proposal support colleagues and will also be responsible for the capture and maintenance of proposal content repositories that support the development of proposal documents.
A solution focused and tenacious team player with a strong desire to meet the needs and requirements of internal clients under the pressure of tight deadlines, the ideal candidate will be a bright graduate or equivalent with a good understanding of the legal market and proven experience working as part of an international pitch team within a partnership environment. The Pitch Manager will also possess excellent communication and project management skills and will enjoy working to tight deadlines whilst managing competing priorities.
