The Role
* Operate toolroom equipment consisting of milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, wire EDMs, and spark erosion equipment competently.
* Produce components to engineering drawings to a high level.
* Identify improvements and manufacturing methods within the department to increase efficiency and output.
* Maintain works order paperwork and booking through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
KEY SKILLS
* Apprentice Trained Engineer or Toolmaker / Machinist. etc.
* Experience in a Toolroom environment
* Previous experience of milling, lathes, surface grinders, wire & die sink EDMs
continuous improvement of the NPI process e.g conducting lessons learnt workshops.
