Investigo are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a growing Milton Keynes based SME business who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant, on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing accurate financial accounts, as well as analysing and presenting financial information to support key business decisions and growth.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
* Presenting reports to the HOF to aid business decision making
* Developing and overseeing financial systems, processes and procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement/efficiency
* Controlling income and expenditure within the business, ensuring alignment with budgets
* Developing and implementing cost effective financial policies, as well as mitigating financial risk
* Overseeing other aspects of financial operations, such as payroll
* Submission of VAT Returns, CIS and Rebates
* Bank Reconciliation and cash flow maintenance
* Building strong internal relationships with departmental heads and working with them to analyse data and identify areas for margin and revenue improvement
* Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-finance managers
The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified Accountant with strong depth to their experience, covering all areas of finance. They will be an excellent communicator who has previous experience of working in an SME environment, where there is breadth to a finance role.

Our Client is offering a salary of £50,000 - £60,000

**This role will require a MINIMUM of 4 days in the office**
