Senior Python Development /Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack
Our client, a dynamic and innovative start-up, are looking to recruit a Senior Python/Full Stack Developer on a permanent basis. This role would suit an established Lead Developer or a Senior Python Developer eager to step into a leadership position. As the Senior/Lead Python Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, working on a brand-new codebase with Greenfield technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deploy end-to-end customer-facing features, working across both frontend and backend codebases
* Write clean, efficient, and scalable code on tight timelines
* Collaborate with product and design teams independently
* Balance development speed, performance, and scalability
* Document work and communicate effectively with stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
* 6+ years of senior or lead experience in full-stack engineering
* Exceptional skills in Python, microservices architectures, and backend API implementation
* Experience with cloud platforms, relational databases, and DevOps practices
* Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and tools
* Curiosity and readiness to dive into new technologies
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience with 3D engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, NVIDIA Omniverse)
* Knowledge of OpenUSD and/or OpenTimelineIO
* Previous experience in a Start-up or Scale-up
This is a remote position with minimal travel (typically 4 days per month).
