Job Title: HR Officer
Public Sector: University
Contract: Fixed Term until Nov/Dec 2024
Location: London Hybrid - 3 days on-site

About the Role: The Recruitment and HR Operations Officer provides excellent recruitment and operational HR advice, support, and guidance to managers and staff. Acting as the first point of contact for applicants, on-boarders, and employees, this role ensures a smooth recruitment process and compliance with employment-related legislation. Responsibilities include implementing employee variations of contract, managing HR databases, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide recruitment and operational HR advice to managers and staff
* Administer the entire recruitment process
* Implement employee contract variations and other changes
* Ensure compliance with employment regulations
* Maintain accurate HR databases
Qualifications and Experience:
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent HR expertise - i.e. CIPD Level 5
* Experience in a similar generalist HR role
* Knowledge of recruitment and selection legislation
* Proficiency in using HR databases and e-recruitment systems - ResourceLink (Essential)
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
