Position: Registered Children’s Home Manager
Location: Bradford
Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000
A well-established and respected organization that provides exceptional care and support to children and young people in their residential services in Bradford are recruiting for a Registered Children’s Home Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the residential service, including staff management, resource allocation, and budgeting.
* Ensure the provision of high-quality care and support to children and young people, including developing individual care plans, monitoring progress, and evaluating outcomes.
* Lead and manage a team of staff, including registered social workers, care workers, and other support staff.
* Ensure that the home is compliant with Ofsted regulations and standards.
* Monitor and report on the performance of the service, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
* Develop and maintain partnerships with other organizations and agencies to enhance the services provided to children and young people
Requirements:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and management for Residential Childcare
* NVQ Level 3 In Children and Young People’s Workforce
* Excellent leadership & communication skills
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a children’s care setting and at least 2 years’ experience in a management role
* Proven track record of achieving positive service improvements and growth.
* Experience with Ofsted inspections and managing EBD Service.
* Excellent knowledge of child protection procedures, Quality Standards, and Children’s Homes regulations.
* Full driving licence
