Job Description:
Our client is an expert in workspace transformation for commercial offices and retail occupiers, with clients ranging from SMEs to international luxury brands. They create inspiring, fun and exciting environments.
As Project Coordinator you will support the Contracts Manager to deliver projects smoothly and successfully on time and on budget whilst meeting the client’s requirements. This is a fast paced, varied role where you can build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers and use your initiative to source, negotiate and purchase from suppliers to meet client needs.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the construction or Design & Build field with a keen interest in Interior Design. Excellent career development opportunities in a growing consultancy.
Duties include
* Working with the Interiors and Furniture team to provide project and administrative support for all projects
* Obtaining quotations, understanding lead times and prices on products and suppliers, advising clients accordingly and obtaining their approval to proceed
* Raising orders in the internal PO system, requesting client POs and placing orders with suppliers
* Tracking delivery of orders, constantly maintaining communication with the relevant parties (colleagues, clients, contractors)
* Preparation of site set up folders and organisation of all equipment at the beginning of a project
* Assist with the collation of O&M Manuals and ensuring the information is collated in time
* Organise License to Alters (LTA) for the Contract Managers
* Arrange site set up to support Contract Managers
* H&S administration on site
* Approval of invoicing and working with Contract Managers to ensure cost sheets are maintained
Skills/Experience
* Coordination at an intermediate level, ideally in the construction or Design & Build field
* Financial/ budget understanding a bonus
* Positive team player
* Strong communicator, both verbal and written
* Ability to prioritise and work under pressure on multiple projects and timeframes
* Ability to work independently
