Job Description:
Are you looking for a role where you can offer safety, support, and guidance to primary and secondary-aged learners who have not had the best introduction to learning?

This specialist trust has been changing lives and supporting learners with SEMH and trauma needs for over 10 years. This is an incredible day school that offers support and education to learners between the ages of 5-16 years. The setting is bright and inviting and caters for approximately 60 pupils. This school advocates for small classes and individualised learning. In addition to education, the learners are also given access to activities that support their interests and hobbies. In the role of TA in this specialist setting you work in a team of teachers and TA’s to support classes of approximately 4-8 learners. This school is a haven for its pupils, especially for those who have had trauma or past experiences that have led to SEMH needs. This school supports the whole child, recognising their social and emotional needs in conjunction with their educational needs. For this role, you do need to be a resilient, committed, and passionate individual.
This position is needed 08:30-3:30 pm Monday- Friday and is a term-time only position. Applicants must be available on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:
* Supporting in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities
* Supporting learners with SEMH on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
