HR Administrator * Annual Salary: £25k - £28k
* Location: Wootton Bassett 
* Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to a HR department for our client based in Wootton Bassett. This role is integral to maintaining their HR policies, managing their staff database, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new employees. The ideal candidate will work closely with the HR Advisor and play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the HR function.
Day-to-day of the role: * Assist the HR Advisor with various tasks and ensure HR policies are up-to-date with employment legislation.
* Maintain the online staff database, including updates on employment changes, absence management, and producing regular reports.
* Provide reports on staffing levels, absence, vacancies, and attrition.
* Monitor training through My Learning Zone and produce relevant reports.
* Manage the HR inbox, ensuring sensitive and confidential data is handled appropriately.
* Create job advertisements, liaise with recruitment agencies, and negotiate rates.
* Prepare and send out HR documentation such as offer letters and contracts.
* Conduct Right-to-Work, DBS, and reference checks.
* Onboard new employees, arrange inductions, and monitor probationary reviews.
* Provide information to employees and department heads upon request.
* Liaise with accounts for medical/pension benefits and conduct exit interviews.
* Assist with payroll updates and attend disciplinary and staff meetings for note-taking.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * CIPD Level 3 qualification and previous HR Administration experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Competent keyboard skills for producing accurate and well-presented reports.
* Ability to present data effectively in various formats.
* Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Commitment to delivering effective results and meeting deadlines and targets.
