Interim Financial Accountant required for a business based in the Bournemouth area. The role is for a period of 6 to 12 months whilst the business settles in a new Manager and decides how the permanent role will look. The role is office based 9am to 5pm with parking on site.

You will provide a high level of financial support in Management Accounts Preparation, budget preparation, costing, year-end audit preparation and supporting the preparation and production of monthly payroll.

Key duties
* Monthly Management Accounts
* Assist with budget setting and annual accounts for Audit
* Monthly monitoring of department spend and reporting to operations
* Monthly Supplier Ledger and Sales Ledger control account reconciliations
* Processing of on-line banking and monthly Bank reconciliation
* Maintain register of Fixed Asset additions
* Quarterly Group VAT reconciliation and returns
* Provide and maintain working cover for Monthly Payroll, preparation, production and Reporting
Qualifications and skills
* AAT qualified minimum or very good QBE with a good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
* Fast thinking and proactive
* Able to work under pressure
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* A good working knowledge of Excel, to intermediate level (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
* Familiarity with accounting software
* Experience of working effectively as part of a team
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Attention to detail with an ability to identify numerical errors
