Primary School Teacher (Job Share)
Salary: £130 - £160 per day
Location: DN5
Job Type: Part-time (2 days a week, job share) – full school day (8:15am-15:30pm)
I am inviting a passionate Primary School Teacher to support a wonderful school in the Askern area of Doncaster, working with a Year 3 class on a job share basis. This role is perfect for someone seeking a part-time position with the flexibility to choose their working days. This small school prides itself on its supportive community and commitment to providing a nurturing learning environment for fewer than 200 pupils.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver engaging and educational lessons to a Year 3 class, adhering to the national curriculum.
* Engage in collaborative planning and marking with a job share partner to ensure continuity and quality of education.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and additional support where necessary.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Maintain open lines of communication with parents, staff, and the wider school community.
* Participate in school activities and contribute to the school’s ethos and reputation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience in primary education, particularly with Year 3 or similar age groups.
* Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective pedagogical approaches.
* Excellent collaborative skills for job share responsibilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Flexibility in working arrangements to accommodate the job share setup.
