We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our fine dining establishment in Leicester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing orders and deliveries, organising staff shifts, and ensuring the highest level of service is provided to our patrons.
Day-to-day of the role: * Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Manage and monitor food and beverage orders, as well as supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries and stock management.
* Organise staff shifts, manage rosters, and ensure all team members are fully trained and performing to their best abilities.
* Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
* Collaborate with the kitchen and dining room staff to maintain a seamless service experience.
* Analyse and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability.
* Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar managerial role in the hospitality industry.
* Strong understanding of fine dining service standards and customer service.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Previous experience in managing orders and deliveries.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for the hospitality industry and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
