QTS Science Teacher
SCIENCE TEACHER REQUIRED IN WOLVERHAMPTON
SMART Education recruits into Teaching Jobs Wolverhampton and across the West Midlands, and into Home Tutor jobs across the UK.
Smart Education is thrilled to collaborate with an outstanding school in Wolverhampton, and we are actively searching for a dedicated Teacher to join the team immediately. This is a full-time position with excellent subject knowledge requirements and a focus on teaching from Year 7 to GCSE level.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): The successful candidate must possess QTS and demonstrate a passion for teaching science.
* Good Subject Knowledge: We are looking for a Teacher with a strong command of science.
* Experience with Challenging Behaviour: The ideal candidate should have experience working with challenging behaviour, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Conduct 55-minute lessons from Year 7 to GCSE level, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of each individual within the class
* Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student participation and academic progress.
Requirements:
* Excellent core subject knowledge
* Proven experience in managing and teaching students with challenging behaviour.
* Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
* Enhanced DBS: All applicants must possess an Enhanced DBS check on the update service to ensure the safety and security of students.
* References: The successful candidate should be able to provide 24 months of professional references, with a minimum of 6 months spent working in a UK school specifically supporting challenging behaviour.
Salary: £32, 245 - £43, 583 per annum
Hours: 8:15 am - 3:30 pm
Location: Wolverhampton
Start Date: September 2024 - ongoing with potential to go permanent
