The company is a reputable fit out contractor with international operations and a strong presence in the London hotels sector. They are known for their high-quality construction projects and have recently completed a recognisable East London hotel project. As they have been increasing their tendering activity there is an opportunity for a Preconstruction Manager to join the business on a contract/consultancy basis for 3-6 months.
Description
As the Preconstruction Manager your key responsibilities will include:
* Oversight of new tender opportunities
* Understanding of project scopes and providing top level commercial and technical information
* Coordination of activities with relevant consultant teams or internal stakeholders to assess projects
* Completion of PQQs and tender submissions
Profile
A successful Preconstruction Manager should have:
* A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields
* Background in interior fit out projects (ideally hotels but not essential)
* Proficiency in cost estimation and risk management
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
* Strong leadership and project management abilities
Job Offer
* A daily rate between £350-£450 per day depending on experience
* The potential for a longer-term contract in preconstruction
* Commercially biased individuals who may have an interest in taking on commercial management of a secured project could be provided with a full time role
