Role:
* Teaching Assistant
* Lambeth
* £13 - £15 per hour
* Full-time
* Primary or Secondary
Responsibilities:
* Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans for children
* Provide support and supervision to children during classroom activities and outdoor playtime
* Help create a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students
* Assist with maintaining classroom materials and organising learning spaces
* Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
* Support students with special needs, including those with autism or other developmental disabilities
Experience:
* Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
* Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for working with children with autism or other special needs
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from the lead teacher
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for educating young children
