Job Description:
WE Talent are currently working with a national organisation in central Essex who are looking for a qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant to join their Finance team.
The role is working on a hybrid basis from their central modern offices, and also offers a 4 day working week across the company as well as other excellent benefits.

Key responsibilities
- To have overall responsibility for financial management and control within the business and to maintain accounting records to professional standards.
- To manage the relationship between the Finance team and the external auditors in production of the Annual Report and Financial Statements
- To manage to a professional standard the production of data to facilitate an accurate valuation of the Company’s assets and liabilities and thereby monitor solvency trends.
- To deliver accurate, relevant and timely financial management information to the Board including data demonstrating the Company’s solvency position.
- To manage the relationship with the outsourced provider of Actuarial Services. Work with that provider Company to ensure that accurate and timely valuations are undertaken.
- To assess the product portfolio and profitability
- Production of management accounts and statutory returns
Skills/experience needed
- Fully qualified (ACCA or CIMA)
- Previous working experience as an Accountant
- Previous analytical experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

- Salary circa £50k-£60k per annum
- Company works to a 4 day working week, hours 9am-5pm (32 hours a week)
