Key Responsibilities as an IT Procurement Manager
* Source IS services for PI & R and Group requirements.
* Manage an annual IS BAU spend of approximately £30 million.
* Oversee an additional project spend of around £10 million in the network and hardware category.
* Deliver business-critical projects within the IT pipeline.
* Collaborate with the Software Procurement Manager to develop a robust software and network category strategy.
* Work with stakeholders to create and implement strategies.
* Identify suppliers to meet specific objectives.
* Manage costs effectively.
* Build a comprehensive category plan.
* Ensure quality and performance across the supply base.
Core Experience and Skills
* Extensive experience in procurement.
* Experience in transformation or migration projects.
* Skilled in a broad range of sourcing strategies to support the IT category (preferred).
* Proven track record in strategy development and implementation.
* CIPS qualification (beneficial but not essential).
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders.
* Strong relationship management with internal customers, stakeholders, and suppliers.
* Proficient in procurement execution, including business requirements, market analysis, tender negotiation, and contract awards.
