Credit Controller

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 (subject to experience)
Office based Role
Our client a leading manufacturer based in Coalville is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
. Mark-up banking advice with appropriate account numbers.
. Process cheques on SAP.
. Allocate payments to accounts.
. Reconcile industrial and trade remittance advices.
. Chase overdue payments.
. Handle phone calls related to industrial and trade accounts.
. Resolve queries with Projects to facilitate payment release.
. Accurately record and chase retention when due or overdue.
. Liaise with the Project Department to advise and resolve short payment queries and assess project status.
. Monitor proforma accounts and advise relevant departments when payments arrive.
. Maintain the ’Stop’ status list and keep it up to date.
. Maintain electronic filing systems and perform associated administrative tasks.
. Attend relevant meetings with Accounts debtors report and Projects/Installations.
Candidate Requirements
. High attention to detail ensuring high levels of accuracy.
. Clear communication skills, both in writing and in person.
. Ability to work in a logical, systematic manner.
. Previous experience with SAP is advantageous.
. Good working knowledge of Excel.
. Ability to work a 5-day week and a minimum of 35 hours.

. Appointment Type: Permanent
. Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 (subject to experience), reviewed after 6-months
. Hours: Full-Time (early finish Friday)
. Holiday: 25 Days + Bank Holidays
