? Assistant Finance Manager - Contract - Financial Services ?
I am urgently seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join our financial services client within their Accounting Operations Finance Team. Assisting the team manager, the successful candidate will ensure deadlines are met, complete reconciliations, and run SOX control activities on various projects and transformation initiatives.
Duration: 6 months [with view to extend]
Location: Bristol
Hybrid: 2 days on site per week
Daily Rate: £337 via Umbrella
Responsibilities:
? Consider why the reconciliation process matters and who it impacts.
? Be willing to challenge existing processes and improve systems.
? Effective use of reconciliation tools to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
? Fully or partially qualified finance/accountant with financial services experience.
? Has experience assisting with relevant User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities as needed.
? Experience reviewing projects and assessing their impact on BAU.
? Proficiency in using finance systems and software or a proven ability to learn new systems in a short timescale.
? Experience of Microsoft 365 suite, specifically Excel. Ideally has SAP, Oracle and PowerBi.
? Advantageous to have less than 4 weeks notice period due to urgency of role ?
