Cloud Architect Engineer
Harvey Nash is currently recruiting for an exciting permanent role with a client of ours, a leading organisation in the finance industry who are currently undergoing lots of change and transformation. It is a really exciting time for an enthusiastic Cloud Engineer to join the team and have the opportunity to make instant impact.
Responsibilities of the role:
* Providing project support where required to build / configure infrastructure platforms with supporting documentation.
* Provide escalation support to IT colleagues for complex issues.
* Supporting the Arrow Azure Infrastructure stack, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and more.
* Delivering automation through tools such as Intune Autopilot, Terraform, PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure CLI.
Your experience:
* Strong experience working with a wide array of Azure services, including but not limited to Virtual Machines, Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Networks, and Azure Load Balancer.
* Proven expertise in Azure DevOps for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and release management.
* Familiarity with key infrastructure technologies and best practices, including LAN, WAN, Voice, Windows, Active Directory, virtualization, and security.
* Extensive experience in designing and delivering automation through desktop and build delivery methods such as Intune and Autopilot.
* Extensive knowledge of cloud automation using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, ARM templates, Azure CLI, or similar.
* An understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.
* Monitoring the performance of our Cloud Platform in real-time to ensure efficient and reliable performance for our customers.
* Excellent level of knowledge and experience of hosting technologies, Identity Management, Office 365, D365, Microsoft suites, and SharePoint.
