My client has an exciting opportunity to join their organisation as an ICT Project Manager on a Fixed Term Contract for 24 months. In this role you will be a confident and professional communicator who is able to interact with the clients and key stakeholders, with a broad understanding of IT systems, as well as the ability to manage the delivery of multiple projects that form part of the organisation’s business plan.
The role
* Manage projects through their entire lifecycle, ensuring completion of scoping, design, delivery, and BIS phases.
* Maintain a resource allocation plan for projects and an agreed change programme.
* Secure appropriate resources in terms of staff, skills, funds, and supportive functions to deliver the project.
* Ensure project budgets and costs to complete are recorded.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, features, and release schedules.
* Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies that may impact product delivery, implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
* Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders. Provide all required project documentation to the PMO for review and approval to proceed to the next project stage.
* Ensure projects deliver the desired outcomes to the agreed quality level where appropriate. Provide regular input to the Service Improvement Plan.

The requirements
* Proven experience of managing complex ICT projects through to completion.
* An understanding of the role of IT systems in facilitating business strategy.
* Knowledge of ITIL processes and the use of CMDB.
* Prince2
* Experience of working within both private and public sectors (Beneficial)
