Operational Resilience & Business Continuity Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE:

Sterling Williams are working alongside a Global Banking Institution to provide support and assistance to the Head of Administration and Planning, developing and maintaining the Branch Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Management programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) To support the Head of in the Branch in the development and maintenance of the Operational Resilience programme
b) To support operational resilience documentation development and maintenance
c) To support the governance and embedding of the operational resilience programme across the Branch
d) To support departments in their maintenance of mapping for the operational resilience programme
e) To support the secretariat and administrative functions of the Operational Resilience Sub Committee
f) To support the operational resilience training and exercising programme; including staff inductions, annual training and tailored scenario testing
g) To proactively research changes in Operational Resilience legislation and regulations and ensure any changes are implemented in Branch
h) To help support the incident response across Branch, providing subject matter expertise and an incident coordination point

Business Continuity:
a) To work collaboratively with Heads of Department across Branch in maintaining and reviewing Business Impact Analysis
b) To work collaboratively with Heads of Department across Branch in maintaining, reviewing and testing of Department level Business Continuity Plans
c) To support the Head of in the review and testing of the Branch Business Continuity Plan
d) To support the business continuity training and exercising programme; including staff inductions, annual staff training, testing of the communications system and fallback site
e) To support the secretariat and administrative functions of the Crisis Management Committee
f) To help maintain the business continuity lessons learnt document to ensure continuous improvement across Branch
g) To highlight and work with departments to mitigate business continuity risks
h) To proactively research changes in Business Continuity legislation and regulations and ensure any changes are implemented in Branch
i) To work with IT to strengthen and test disaster recovery arrangements
j) To help support the incident response across Branch, providing subject matter expertise and an incident coordination point

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

A university degree. Experience of developing and maintaining an operational resilience and/ or business continuity management programme.
