Description
* Develop and maintain financial systems and processes.
* Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
* Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
* Support the Finance Director in strategic financial planning.
* Perform financial modelling, analysis and provide financial advice.
* Ensure financial controls are in place and adhered to.
* Liaise with internal and external auditors.
* Participate in cross-departmental projects.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* A professional accounting qualification.
* Relevant experience in a similar role within the not-for-profit sector.
* Strong technical accounting skills.
* Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with non-finance staff.
* An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
