What you’ll be doing:
* Provide expertise for the systems maintenance and support of the live technology infrastructure, including patching / upgrades for network and hardware, telephony, databases, middleware, and security monitoring
* Design and meticulously implement update schedules to always ensure infrastructure components are secure, resilient, in support and available within agreed Operational and Service Level Agreements
* Take a pro-active corporate role in the management of your function including participation and delivery of your directorate’s objectives
Your skills and experiences:
* Extensive experience of working in a senior technical team in a complex organisation with an IT estate comprising of a significant number on premise and cloud servers
* Knowledge and experience of installing, and supporting server operating systems and hardware including VMWare ESXi in multisite enterprise live environments
* Comprehensive experience of managing live Microsoft Azure, networks, storage, security, backups, system troubleshooting and their lifecycle management
* ITIL V3/V4 qualification with the experience of working in an ITIL focused environment
* AZ-104, desirable: Microsoft Certified System Administrator and Microsoft Azure Administrator qualification or equivalent
