Job Description:
Our Client is seeking experienced Reinsurance professionals to join them in order to work as part of a dedicated team of Treaty Technicians.
Whether you have a few years of experience within Reinsurance or you are a seasoned Reinsurance professional this is the ideal place to learn new skills and an opportunity for you to progress at different levels.
This is a role that can be conducted on a remote basis in your home or on a hybrid basis, going into the office when you wish.
As a Treaty Technician, you will:
* Understand the Client’s business, continually working with the Account Executives to fully support any specific client requirements
* Participate in renewal planning, anticipating and preventing possible issues
* Manage and coordinate workflow around renewals for your clients
* Delivery of reliable, high-quality and timely technical and administrative support
* Attend relevant meetings, ensure notes and follow up actions are completed
* Develop and maintain close working relationships with Brokers & Account Executives
* Generate and issue evidence of cover, debit notes and closing instructions
* Produce contractual documentation to a high level and within timescales
* Produce data, statistics, and information packs in support of the placement of a client’s programme
* Prepare accurate and timely production of client documentation (Market Reform Contracts, Evidence of Cover, Policies, slips, wordings clauses etc) in accordance with client and market needs
* Manage and resolve queries from clients and Insurers
To be a successful Treaty Technician, you will have:
* Previous experience within Treaty Reinsurance
* Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations
* Significant experience of working in a technical capacity for a Broker is favourable
* Experience of using London Market systems such as ECF and LORS is ideal
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
