This role is pivotal in managing and coordinating the maintenance of fully automated production machinery and associated raw material processing equipment. You will also play a key role in the site’s Health and Safety Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the current maintenance team.
* Oversee the Planned Preventative Maintenance scheme.
* Maintain and enhance Health and Safety Systems.
* Identify and propose process improvements.
* Justify, implement, and appraise small-scale improvement projects.
* Manage spare part stock and procurement.
Key Requirements:
* HNC level education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Ability to evaluate mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical systems to identify performance and diagnose faults.
* Understand process and equipment measurements to evaluate performance.
* Prioritise and plan work demand effectively.
* Maintain and update personal technical knowledge of engineering systems.
* Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to new ideas.
* Show high levels of commercial awareness and product appreciation.
