Assistant Property Manager - Block Management
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000PA
Working hours: Monday - Friday 9-5:30pm
Job Description:
* Assisting the Property Manager and enabling them to manage their portfolio of properties
* Handling property maintenance issues reported by Leaseholders and residents communicating with contractors as necessary
* Obtaining quotations for any works
* Dealing with any telephone / email / post enquires
* Performing property searches via the Land Registry
* Managing elements of maintenance issues and seeing them through to completion
* Assisting in the management of all Health and Safety, Fire Risk Assessments and any Asbestos for the portfolio
* Drafting for approval Section 20 Notices
* Assisting the Property Manager whilst they liaise with Chartered Surveyors during any major work projects
* Assisting the Property Manager whilst they liaise with insurance brokers prior to the renewal of any polices
* Attending from time to time formal management visits to each property and creating reports
* Attending from time to time EGM’s and AGM’s where necessary
* Dealing with Service Charge and Ground Rent collections
* Instructing contractors
Experience Required:
* Ideally worked in block property management in some degree
* Keen to begin TPI/IRPM studies
* Good communicator - verbal and written
