On an exclusive basis, greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a No.1 Financial Controller to work with a well-established manufacturing business based in Coventry. This role has the opportunity to progress to Finance Director with the business.
Reporting into the Directors, duties of the role will include:
* Managing and developing a small team

* Overall responsibility for the accounts function of the business

* Production of management accounts

* Financial reporting and statutory accounts production

* Controlling the budgeting and forecasting process

* Developing and reviewing future plans to aid with strategic growth

* Liaising with auditors, banks and other external parties

* Cashflow management

* Provide timely and accurate management information for discussion with the senior team

* Continuous improvement of reporting/ management accounts process

* Supporting the Directors with ad hoc requests to improve the business

Skills, Requirements, Qualifications
* Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA

* Manufacturing Experience

* Experience in an FM/ FC role

* Strong hands on experience as well as commercial

* Excellent Excel skills and ERP experience

* Strong stakeholder and staff management skills
